Nathan is a director and actor with over twenty years of experience. A New Mexico native, Nathan’s work has been enjoyed all across the Land of Enchantment as well as the Fort Worth Fringe Festival (Texas), the Acadiana Center for the Arts (Louisiana), and festivals in the Southwest Theatre Conference (Oklahoma and Texas). Some of his favorite shows he’s directed include Cabaret (Hobbs Playhouse), his award-winning production of Hamlet (festivals in New Mexico, Texas, and Oklahoma), The Glass Menagerie (Theatre New Mexico State Festival, AACTF Regional Festival in Louisiana), and A Doll’s House (Theatre New Mexico State Festival, AACTF Regional Festival in Louisiana). As a director, Nathan aims to open up the canon of classic works in a way that makes them relevant to modern audiences. He believes the rehearsal room is a place for equality and collaboration and that every performer has a unique voice they can bring into the process.
